On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage Mr. Pierre Dimba, accompanied by H.E. Yacouba Cissé, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Austria, were received at the EXAMON Group premises in Vienna by the Managing Director Mr. Amir Zargar.
The discussions focused on the pharmaceutical group's interest in setting up in Côte d'Ivoire and working with the public and private sectors in the production and marketing of medicines.
It should be noted that the EXAMON group has several drug manufacturing plants around the world, and has specialized in the production of food supplements for over 30 years. It has won several awards for the quality of some of its medicines.
Satisfied with the presentation made by the group, the Minister did not fail to invite the group to travel to Côte d'Ivoire in order to better discuss in detail with the public bodies in charge of drug-related issues. This invitation was immediately accepted by the Group Director.
Thus, the Group Director was asked to work with the embassy to facilitate communication with the Ivorian authorities and effectively prepare their trip to Côte d'Ivoire during the first quarter of 2025.
